  Yoga is for everyone!

 
Yoga is appropriate for everybody, regardless of your age, fitness or flexibility. 





Emma has been practicing yoga for over 10 years, learning from a vast array of teachers and experiencing different styles.  Her interest in yoga started when she left the military with knee injuries from too much running, especially in boots and carrying weight! 

She enjoyed practicing yoga, but found it difficult to exchange yoga for running, which she knew was hurting her body.  When she discovered ashtanga over 8 years ago, she found the dynamism that she was after in her yoga class.  Over time yoga became more than a way to keep fit, it became part of her life and she started practicing regularly.  She is now free from knee pain, and she is grateful she discovered yoga which continues to give her so much more than relief from injuries.






Practicing yoga regularly can help build tone, strength and balance as well as providing an inner calm which is often difficult to find in our busy lives.

The classes that Emma teaches are based on ashtanga vinyasa yoga, some incorporate the full Primary Series and others are shorter dynamic classes.  These classes differ in the content and way in which they are taught, for more information about this please click on 'About yoga'.
